Warrior of Minas Tirith-NMM
This is my first large-scale attempt at NMM and I am rather pleased with the outcome. There isn't a drop of metallic paint on this mini! Although it took forever to paint it was tons of fun and I don't know that I will ever go back to painting them with metallics. I also added a few free hands to the shield and the sword scabbard.
Here is a close-up of the base. A bit of freehand on it as well.

Very nice effect.... I must admit NMM is not a technique I have tried, largely due to the time factor involved as you pointed out! Seriously cool though, it does raise them to the next level!
ReplyDeleteHey thanks Scott! I'm finding myself going more towards it. I am working on a Rohan banner bearer now and I did the chain-mail and other effects in NMM!
